The BAPE x Vans Knu Skool “Black” is the darker and slightly more wearable pair from the upcoming BAPE x Vans Knu Skool pack. Releasing alongside the “Green” colorway, this version keeps the chunky skate-inspired shape of the Knu Skool but mixes black suede overlays with different camo panels across the side and heel.

Compared to the green pair, the “Black” colorway feels a little more versatile. It still has the loud BAPE identity, but the black base, white side stripe and clean white tooling make it easier to style than the brighter camo version.

Mixed Camo Panels and Vans DNA

The sneaker uses black suede on the toe, eyestay and heel, while the quarter panels feature a mix of BAPE camo patterns. Depending on the side, you get green, grey, purple and pink camo hits, giving the shoe a split-panel look without feeling too chaotic.
