Action Bronson is not just dropping another New Balance collab — he is opening the next chapter of the Baklava universe. After teasing the pair through a first-access Brooklyn event, official images of the Action Bronson x New Balance 2811 “Mikročpske” have now surfaced, giving us the best look yet at the bold new model.

The pair is part of Bronson’s BAKLAVA 2811 Signature Series Volume 1, powered by New Balance, and it already feels different from his previous projects. Instead of returning to a familiar retro runner, this release introduces a fresh silhouette with heavy early-2000s energy, layered paneling, oversized tooling and the kind of chaotic color blocking that has become a signature part of Action Bronson’s sneaker language.

According to Action Bronson, the New Balance 2811 “Mikročpske” will release next week exclusively through Specializing in Life. Before that wider online drop, the first 300 pairs were made available through a private event in Brooklyn for New York City and Tri-State area residents.

A New Baklava Chapter

The New Balance 2811 immediately stands out because it does not feel like a safe collaboration. The silhouette leans into a chunky Y2K runner shape with layered mesh, synthetic overlays, sculpted midsole sections and a heavily segmented outsole. It has that technical, almost experimental New Balance feel, but Bronson’s color direction pushes it into a much louder space.

The “Mikročpske” colorway combines black overlays with yellow mesh, dark teal cage elements, metallic silver midsole sections, translucent detailing, blue hits on the tongue and heel, plus bright orange accents underfoot. A wider New Balance release has not been confirmed yet, so for now, this should be treated as a Specializing in Life exclusive unless more launch details surface.
