The original FLOM concept from the early-2000s SB era turned currency into commentary and instantly entered grail territory. Two decades later, Futura revived the theme on an Air Force 1 Low in the most Futura way possible: scarce, quiet, and deliberately out of reach. This Air Force 1 Low looks like it was lifted from a glass case. Olive suede wraps the overlays with a soft, brushed finish, framing canvas underlays printed with a collage of global banknotes. The bills aren’t loud or gimmicky; they sit slightly muted beneath the suede so the pattern reads premium rather than parody.

A crisp white leather Swoosh cuts across both sides and feeds into pale pink liners that give the shoe a soft glow when the light hits. On the tongue, Futura’s atom mark replaces the standard Nike tag, while a metallic dubrae at the base of the laces adds a small flash of hardware. Underfoot, an icy translucent outsole keeps the palette clean and lets the print peek from the edges.

Turn the pair around and the storytelling sharpens: oversized “FL” embroidery on the heel tabs nods to Futura Laboratories, while “LXX” stitched along the quarter panel translates to 70 in Roman numerals—the exact production count for the 2025 run. Futura’s script appears near the heel as a final signature flourish. The whole make-up feels intentional, tactile, and unmistakably Futura.

Release: two pairs, seventy dollars, one chance

An EQL raffle opens December 20 at midnight, and it’s hosted by Futura Laboratories only. Unlike typical launches, there’s no SNKRS slot and no retailer distribution. There will be two winners worldwide, each getting the chance to purchase a pair for $70—a playful mirror of the 70-pair production number. Once the raffle closes, the FLOM Air Force 1 will resume its life as a white-whale artifact.
