The Slam Jam x Vans Slip-On has surfaced for the first time, giving us an early look at what could become one of the more interesting Vans collaborations of the year. The Vans Slip-On is one of the most recognizable silhouettes in sneaker culture, and this Slam Jam version leans fully into that history while making the shoe feel more chaotic and collectible. The familiar checkerboard pattern is still there, but it does not appear in the usual clean and symmetrical way.

The heel area combines two different checkerboard styles, with red-and-white panels on one side and black-and-white panels on the other. The split design gives the shoe a mismatched feel without going completely over the top.
